CEO/CO-OWNER:Christopher Panciera

Chris is a long-time customer of the shop of over 15 years and a local Laker resident! Graduated in 2017 from Shawnee High School and served in the U.S. Navy as an intelligence specialist from 2018-2022 in Virginia. Chris served as a command fitness leader, where he was responsible for assisting over 5,000 sailors with the yearly fitness evaluation. He started his first business with an online sneaker store in 2020. Upon getting out in 2022, Chris enrolled at Villanova University. Where he is studying entrepreneurship. An avid collector himself, Chris is excited to continue the New Concept name and it's communal importance!!

CO-OWNER: Marc Peterson

Marc has been co-owner of New Concept since March 2012. An avid collector for over 60 years. A retired attorney who served as Senior Counsel for Fraud and business integrity for the DLA, in Philly. He was the senior ethics officer for 2500 employees. Marc is a 1978 graduate of Swarthmore College, where he was on the varsity football team and where as a graduate, he coached the women’s softball program for 17 years. He graduated with JD cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 1998. He has served on the boards of PA Special Olympics, Contact Philadelphia Teleministries (also served over 2000 hours on a crisis hotline) and the Friends of Swarthmore Athletics, and also established a boy scouting (BSA) program for young boys and men with disabilities. He takes great pride in continuing the long tradition of New Concept as Medford’s community hobby shop.
